Chantal Oderbolz, PhD

Postdoctoral Associate Researcher (Swiss National Science Foundation fellow)

Chantal has a PhD in Linguistics from the University of Zurich. Her work focused on speech perception, using EEG, MEG, and behavior to investigate the role of prosody in shaping neural representations of speech. She is interested in all things speech processing (from perception to production) and the link between the brain and behavior. She has funding from the Swiss National Science Foundation to investigate neural integration in speech and audition.

Chantal loves going to concerts, playing the guitar, food, and Conan O’Brien. She enjoys a good sax solo and the outdoors. As a responsible adult, she is enthusiastic about airing her apartment. Chantal hopes to one day renovate and live in an old schoolhouse.
