PhD Student (rotating)
Rowen is a PhD student at Georgetown rotating in the Orpella Lab. She graduated from Princeton University in 2024 with a bachelors in neuroscience and certificates in cognitive science and linguistics, and then went on to work as a neurobehavioral analyst in the Autism Center at the Child Mind Institute. She is interested in how different linguistic factors like multilingualism or modality impact the neural systems that support language, and how those neurolinguistic systems are affected by language and communication disorders. In her free time, Rowen enjoys reading, baking, and exploring new restaurants.
